Who is AllSouth Appliance?
AllSouth is a family owned and operated appliance distributor based in Birmingham, Alabama. With beautiful showrooms in Birmingham and Huntsville, AllSouth decided to offer a web based choice for up to date product information and after hours purchases. We offer hundreds of brands of appliances, grills and specialty products, and quick delivery. An authorized dealer for every manufacturer, you can buy with confidence.
Should I buy appliances off an internet site?
You should only purchase from a reputable website. If the deal sounds too good to be true, it is possibly a scratch and dent or refurbished product. AllSouth will always disclose why any product is discounted and any product we sell, has a warranty or we won't sell it. Because of the size of some appliances, thought should be made of what you need from the delivery. Many builders won't assist in the delivery made from a common carrier. If your project requires specific delivery instructions and or timeline, you may be better served by a local dealer.
How are appliances installed?
For delivery with-in AIlSouth's delivery zone, we will set up and install refrigeration and laundry. We can arrange installation of built-in products through several of our recommended installers. For out of the area delivery, you the customer or your builder will need to arrange installation. Many service companies, plumbers and electricians offer these services. Also, you might check with a local remodeler or the homebuilders association for qualified installers. All products are shipped with installation instructions, also found on our site, for the DIY customer.
What about shipping?
Small products are shipped UPS/ FedEx to physical address, no P.O. boxes. Larger items are shipped by AllSouth within our delivery coverage area (see shipping & return policies).
Damages?
It is important to inspect all items for damage. If the carton/package shows damage, have the shipping company note it on the bill of lading. Inspection may be required. If it is damaged, you should refuse the item and call us immediately. We will re-order and send a replacement. See more info under (shipping and return policies).
Do I pay sales tax?
We only collect sales tax in Alabama, Georgia
How do I get warranty service?
In Alabama, we service most every product we sell. Outside of our service area, warranty is covered by authorized provider(s). We are happy to assist you in obtaining service, call our toll free number and we can assist in setting up a call. Warranty information for each product is found on our site. Extended service contracts are available on our site as well (link to page).
Are there products in your store, not on the website?
Yes. We currently offer only appliances, grills and Miele vacuums on our website. We also sell plumbing products, many outdoor living accessories, Guardian generators and ProSun Sunshowers. You can email us sales@allsouthappliance.net or call us toll free 866-942-0408 to get pricing. We will return emailed requests within 24hrs, usually faster.
Are prices cheaper online than in your showrooms?
No. The website does allow us a way to showcase discounted products and specials. These are available in the showroom as well. You are always welcome to call and speak with a salesperson for more information or to discuss pricing.
Some items have "call for price", why?
